Edward Harvey

Dr Harvey a une riche histoire de collaboration avec des scientifiques de base, des cliniciens et des ingénieurs. Il est professeur titulaire de chirurgie à l'Université McGill. Il est le directeur du programme de réparation des blessures et de réadaptation (l'un des huit programmes qui composent l'ensemble de l'institut) à l'IRM-CUSM, avec plus de 100 chercheurs dans son groupe. Il est, ou a été, rédacteur en chef du Journal canadien de chirurgie, membre du comité de rédaction du Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma et de l'OTA International, président du comité de recherche et du cours annuel de sciences fondamentales de l'OTA, président de la section traumatologie de la SRO et président de l'Association canadienne d'orthopédie, entre autres fonctions nationales et internationales.

Charles est passionné par la résolution de problèmes grâce à la technologie MEMS. Avant de rejoindre NXTSENS Microsystems Inc. il a obtenu une maîtrise en ingénierie à l'Université McGill où il a dirigé une équipe d'ingénieurs développant des capteurs de pression absolue MEMS de haute précision. Au cours de sa licence en ingénierie, Charles a dirigé une équipe qui a mis au point une pompe miniature pour le glaucome. Il dirige actuellement les efforts de commercialisation de MY01, mettant à profit ses passions pour les affaires et l'ingénierie afin d'assurer une expérience et une adoption optimales de la part des utilisateurs.

Maria launched Medi-Vantage in 2007 to help medtech clients grow profitably by applying her strategic expertise in the marketing, commercialization, and product development of medical devices. Since then, Medi-Vantage has worked to support (or decline) acquisitions, determine pricing strategy, commercialize disruptive medical device technologies, or assist product development teams in the design or re-engineering of medical devices. Maria developed her experience as an executive in large and start-up organizations. In her last industry role, Maria was vice president of marketing for Oridion, a start-up company acquired by Medtronic. Maria also served as director of marketing for Philips, serving the critical care patient monitoring division, and at Boston Scientific in senior management roles. Maria has direct industry experience as a subject matter expert in 12 medical specialties. Maria also serves on the board of MedExecWomen, an organization empowering female medtech executives to accelerate the positive impact of medical devices, diagnostics, drug delivery, and digital healthcare, with responsibility for its P&L. She holds an MBA from Babson College, magna cum laude, and BA in biology from the University of Pennsylvania.

Pierre Beaudoin joined the Marine Products division of Bombardier in 1985. He occupied multiple positions such as Vice President of Product Development, Executive Vice President of the Sea-Doo/Ski-Doo division, and then President and Chief Operating Officer of Bombardier Recreational Products.
In February 2001, he was appointed President of Bombardier Aerospace, Business Aircraft and he became President and Chief Operating Officer of Bombardier Aerospace in October of the same year. In 2004, he was appointed Executive Vice President of Bombardier and became a member of the Board of Directors of Bombardier.  Following that, he was appointed roles such as President and Chief Executive Officer, Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Chair of the Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Power Corporation of Canada and of BRP Inc.

Drew is a proven investment professional with 20 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions, debt & equity financing, for both public & private companies. He has had a 10-year focus on capital raising and principal investing for the medical device industry. Drew completed debt and equity financings in the industry with capital providers such as Fortress Drawbridge Fund, Atherium Capital Management, PDL BioPharma, as well as, Xeraya Capital and Trevi Health Ventures. Drew has also brought in successful sales to companies Zimmer/Biomet and Stryker Corporation and has aided in successful a acquisition for Stryker Corporation.
